Evansville Deaf Club News
Evansville Deaf Club had their picnic on June 27th. We had about 130 people in attendance there. People brought
WONDERFUL foods. So much food to feed all of us. Thank you all who brought food. We hope you all had a great time! Evansville
Deaf Club would like to share some news with all of the Deaf Community. They need MORE members to join the club to grow. As
of July 2009, Evansville Deaf Club has 6 months to find a place to have Club to socialize. Anyone know any place for the Evansville
Deaf Club to use? Please let Evansville Deaf Club know. Please help Evansville Deaf Club grow. This Club is for everyone to
join. The picnic for Evansville Deaf Club in 2010 is on June 5th, 2009 at Fort Branch Community Park. Please put
this on your calendar.

Monday – 8am to 2pm,
Tuesday & Thursday – 9am to 1pm, Wednesday & Friday – 8am to 12pm

Breast Cancer Race in September
Connections Deaf Center would like to have everyone to join the race
for Breast Cancer. They will have race downtown in Evansville along the
Riverfront. Meet on 2nd and Main St. Early bird register is $25.00 and the
rest you can read on www.komenevansville.org We would like to have Deaf
group join this. come on and join us. Please contact Connections Deaf Center
for group information, our Email connectionsdeafcenter@yahoo.com and contact them now until
September 2nd and we can have group walk/ run/sleep for the Breast Cancer. Connections
Deaf Center will keep you informed on where to meet and we will enjoy the river this year
The Date will be on Saturday September 19th, 2009.

We would like to have your social events information. For that and we will try to put in newsletter. Sometimes we get information
last minutes so if it is last minute we will put that information on the board at CDC.
Jasper Deaf Center
They will have meeting this Saturday August 15th at 7 PM ( Jasper time) at Denny’s locate hwy 231 and
